Not that I'm giving up any of my other projects, but since the female offspring has a post-graduation Quidditch match... We decided she needed a scarf. After all, who in their right mind plays Quidditch without a scarf?
So there's my project! We got some black and gold yarn and I started knitting her the upper classman scarf.
Then I looked up a video or two on how to crochet a scarf... Yeah. In just a few minutes, I'll be undoing the 10 rows of knitting and starting over with crochet. It'll go so much faster.
Not that I'm giving up on knitting, because I really want to master the skill. But I have to hand it to crochet for being fast and easy.
If I get really good at it, I envision a lot of people getting crocheted presents this year!
After I finish the offspring's scarf, and one for my bestie who has a birthday coming up, I'm going to make myself a pretty little Ravenclaw scarf.
